Well, it's officially 2011 now. I know 2010 was a great year for me. I attended several great Rotorcraft Events, Made a lot of new friends, and even did my first solo flight (OK - crow hop) but it was certainly an eventful and memorable year for me. And I plan on having an even greater year this year.

Has anyone set some Rotorcraft related goals for 2011, that they would be willing to share with everyone. There's nothing like telling others what you plan to do to help solidify your goals. Be brave! Who will be first?

Here it is another year to start in a few months. Unfortunately 2012 will be the year I sell my Sport Copter Vortex - no trainer available and I'm unwilling to fly without proper training. I will be buying a motorcycle - not as much fun, but better than watching my gyro rot away in the shop. If there were more CFI's on board, the sport would be doing better.

John's wish was to get the forum up and running. Congratulations John!

In 2015, I'll try to get my Barnett J4B2 project complete and finish the chapter 18 two Place trainer (Orange)

How very cool Tom! I and many other would love a build thread.

In fact we could have much less interrupted build threads here another major advantage!

I'll post my paint and assembly of Aviomania's G1sa Genesis could you post yours?

Hi Kevin

Now that is a great goal!

My plan is to finish building a 1 place Genesis for me and help Chapter 31 finish a 2 place Genesis co-owned trainer for them and maybe the Clubs KB2 if we can finish funding her.
I hope to also add my gyro add-on to my PPL!

I come from the FW world too, these are so much more fun! Good one!

What kind of floatplane? Wouldn't hurt to post the details here someone may do an internet search on For Sale (aircraft make and model here) etc. and you could sell it?

Never it's to over advertize if it is for FREE? Facebook too?

I believe that, Brent. I was just in Logansport a week ago and got out just in time to beat the real cold.
The project is progressing well and I don't have any reason to think I won't be able to get it done in time.

I predict it will be flying weather again in UT. by the end of March. At least for those that really want it and or who are willing to pick their days. Time is going by fast but I'm willing to bet Glenn will get it done. It's sure looking good so far. Keep up the good work GLenn!

Help Jim realize his now 5 year-old desire to get back to flying (after a 38 yr hiatus) ... in a gyro!! Building a TAG - Titanium Explorer in OZ @ present & will be shipping 2 over in Feb(March arrival - hopefully) ... one lucky fella in TX or FL will be the other first owner of this awesome design to be showing this newkid of the new-gen gyro to the Nth American rotorcraft community!
Get a lot more hours flight experience ... so I feel comfortable in my pilot skills to give others an intro-to-gyro flight!
Continue a lot of upgrades & mods to "OZ'rora" ... so I have greater confidence in the integrity of the machine!

Step 1 ....Jake has been rebuilding the rotor head & upper controls ... during my winter downtime!

Hoping to get to ALL the major rotorcraft events this year!! ( got 4of top 5 in 2014!)

I will get my sport pilot license in less than a year and acquire a gyro. I lost my legs so I thought I'd fly.
