Thread: Gyrobee engine swap.

    Gyrobee engine swap.

I am considering the purchase of a Gyrobee ultralight(?) It is currently powered by a Hirth 2704 55hp with dual carbs. I have a new 2706 65hp with EFI. The weight is very similar. Is this too much engine for the Gyrobee? What kind of reputation does the Gyrobee have? I welcome any advice. Thanks, Dave O.

CLT Gyrobee's have a good reputation. As long as you adjust your motor mounts to make it CLT or as close as you can get it will be a good ride.
