Instructors are identified with the following codes: - CFI - Certificated Flight Instructor (gyroplane). Able to provide training for ultralights, Sport Pilot, Recreational, Private, Commercial and CFI and CFI-SP ratings
- CFI-SP - Certificated Flight Instructor (gyroplane) - Sport Pilot. Able to provide training for ultralight and Sport Pilots
- AFI - Ultralight Advanced Flight Instructor. Provide ultralight flight training and train BFIs.
- BFI - Ultralight Basic Flight Instructor. Provide ultralight flight instruction.
- DPE - Designated Pilot Examiner. Able to perform all practical flight exams and grant pilots licenses.
- SPE - Sport Pilot Examiner. Able to perform the practical flight test for initial Sport Pilot licenses
Instructor Listings U.S. CFI/CFI-SP who instruct in Experimental category gyroplanes are required to operate under Exemption 5209 which is administered for the FAA by PRA. Contact
