Pre- Rotation using small electric motors with folding props

In a recent discussion with NASA engineer I asked if it might be possible to utilize small RC motors to pre-rotate the rotor on my Little Wing project. He could see no reason that it would not work but Power requirement and size/ weight of motor and position on rotor were only conjecture. Has anyone utilized this on their project? Results??

Another option might be Pulse jet or Hydrogen peroxide jet. Frakly the video of a gyro using the jet looked very unstable.

Yes both of those have been done and work to a greater or lessor extent. The problem I've hears with Hydrogen peroxide is you cannot carry enough for long distant flights but it could work for a prerotator.
