Tom, do I need to get a new inspection if I change out my rotor blades?

    Hi Kevin,
Same make and model blades; Log entry.
Different make and/or model; 5 Hr test flight in your phase one area, followed by a log entry (per your Operating Limitations).

Different make, just got a pair of McCutchen blades. It will be springtime when it is warm enough to fly.

I assume the same goes for a changed style of rotorhead!!! ???

    I switched the stock Larry Neal/ Butterfly rotorhead to a Jake-made sportcopter-style pitch&pivot gear! ( Crikey ...I wonder WHY!!!!!!)

Planning on the log entry & record 5hr testing in phase I area!

    Hi Barton
They impressed me to so much I called Nicolas and I asked if he made a kit for the USA that I wanted to buy it.
He emailed me back that with all the business advice I'd given on the Forum that he would like me to be the USA agent.

    Sweet I scored twice!

    John,

The Monarch Butterfly is supposed to max out at 65 mph with Rotax 582. Interesting the Aviomania maxes out at 90 mph with the same engine.
